William Shakespeare is seen as the greatest writer in the English language. He wrote 39 plays, 154 short poems and 2 long poems in his life. He was born in April 1564, in Stratford, England. I got your letter yesterday. I am glad that you have made much progress. But you said you still had problems learning English. According to my learning experience, I have some tips for you. You complain that you can’t pronounce words correctly. Well, you can listen to tapes and repeat after them. New words are difficult for you to remember. I think you can write them in your notebook and study them everywhere, on the way to school or when you are waiting for a bus. You said sometimes you couldn’t understand the teacher’s spoken English. I think you can talk with your teacher about it. And you’d better join an English club to practise your spoken English. The other problem that you have is that you don’t get much writing practice. I suggest you should find a pen pal. You can write to your pen pal in English.
