The 39-year-old Wu Qi is called “Uncle Dog” by many autistic（自閉的）children. As an animal behaviour expert（行為專家）, he set up China’s first animal-assisted therapy（AAT動物輔助治療）program using dogs to help children in need.
Wu Qi was very shy when he was a little boy. He spent most of his time in his room alone. His life changed after he found a little dog. “The dog was my best friend. It made me whom I am today.” he said.

I miss the time when I competed in my first model airplane competition. On a hot day in May, I walked into Nanyuan Middle School. My hands were shaking. I heard that other competitors were all experienced. Some of them had won many prizes. I was just an eleven-year-old beginner.

To test whether doing something good every day can keep us healthy, I took part in an experiment. Two scientists from King’s College London have provided a lot of help to finish it.
Soon I received a box. Every morning, noon and night for seven days, I collected my saliva （唾液）with some little plastic tubes（管子） and they were sent back to the scientists to get my cortisol （皮質(zhì)醇）levels.
