There was the sound of a gun from another part of the island. They were shooting another honest sailor.
“I won’t help you,” said brave Tom and walked away from the one-legged cook.
Silver stood next to a tree and leaned on it. He took his crutch(拐杖)and threw the heavy piece of wood at Tom. It hit him and broke the poor man’s back. Immediately, Silver moved forward, took out a knife and killed the sailor. It was terrible!
The cook took the knife and cleaned the blood from it. I quickly went silently away. I was sick and afraid. I began to run towards the hills.
