
1、在句中作狀語用的從句叫狀語從句(句子不缺任何成分)。2、狀語從句可以在句首,也可在句中或句末。 3、狀語從句按其用途可有時間、地點、原因、目的、結(jié)果、讓步、方式、比較等九種。
一: 時間狀語從句(五類引導詞)1.從屬連詞:when(當……時),while(在……期間),as(當……,一邊……一邊……),befre(在……之前),after(在……之后),since(從……以來),till/until(直到),whenever(無論何時),as sn as(一……就)nce(一旦)等。注意:在時間狀語從句中,主將從現(xiàn)
難點逐個擊破1.befre “在……之前”, “還沒來得及/還沒有……就……, 趁著還沒……就……, 不知不覺就……,句型:肯才否就It will be /was+一段時間+befre “過多久才……” It wn't be /wasn't+一段時間+befre “用不了多久就 ...”
注意時態(tài):I had nt sat lng befre he came back. 我沒坐多久他就回來了。He almst kncked me dwn befre he saw me.他幾乎把我撞倒才看到我。 Befre I culd get in a wrd, he measured me. 我還沒來得及插話,他就給我量好了尺寸 It was half a year befre I came back. 半年后我才回來。 It wn't be lng befre we meet again. 過不了多長時間我們就會再見面。
I’ll water the flwers befre it gets dark. 我要趁著天還沒黑把花澆好水。Be a pupil befre yu becme a teacher. 先做學生,后做先生。Time passed quickly and three mnths went by befre she knew it. 時間過得飛快,她不知不覺就在那里度過了三個月。
2、since的用法:since表從過去某一時間或動作、事情起到目前為止,“自….以 來”
①、引導狀語從句時,主句: sb has/have dne(或現(xiàn)在完成進行時)+since從句過去時 I have written hme fur times since I came here. I’ve been living here since I came t Beijing.
②、常用句型:It is (has been)…..+ since +一般過去時It is five years since I began t learn English.
3.until 與 nt untiluntil “直到...時”“做某事直至某時",主句動詞必須是延續(xù)性動詞nt “直到...才”"直至某時才做某事"。主句動詞為延續(xù)性或非延續(xù)性都可以 I slept until midnight.我一直睡到半夜時醒了。She didn't arrive until 6 'clck.她直到6點才到。
4、as, when, while 的用法與區(qū)別: when: ①引導狀語從句,表示主句、從句的動作或狀態(tài)同時、之前、之后發(fā)生。 When they arrived, it was already midnight. When the clck struck eleven, all the lights went ut.從句的動作在主句之前發(fā)生,只能用when。When he ran t the stp, the bus had gne.從句動作在主句動作之后發(fā)生,只可用when
②、when = and then,作并列連詞,when前通常有逗號?!斑@時…. 就在這時….“I was wandering in the street, when suddenly I caught sight f ne f my ld friends.
while ①、while意思是during the whle f the time that,指在一段時間里,所引導的從句中的動詞是延續(xù)性的,“在….期間, 在….之時”She visited a lt f places while she stayed in felt asleep while he was watching TV.②、while可用作并列連詞,連接兩個分句,表對比,“而….”My sn likes t watch bxing games while I wuld rather listen t music.
as表兩個動作交替進行或同時完成,“一邊…一邊…”或“隨著….”"隨時間推移"用as,不用when或while?!? As he grew lder ,he lst interest in everyting except gardening.As time went n, it's getting warmer and warmer.

2. 由名詞詞組充當引導詞:the mment, the minute, the secnd, the instant 等 均表示“一……就……”I lved yu the instant I saw yu. 我一見到你就愛上你了。Tell me the mment yu get the results. 你一拿到結(jié)果就給我打電話。
3.由副詞充當引導詞:如 immediately, directly, instantly等均表示“一……就……” I came immediately yu called. 你一打電話我就來了。2)Directly I walked in the dr I smelt smke. 我一進門就聞到煙味。
4. time短語充當引導詞:every time,each time,(the) next time,any time,the last time,the first time “每當,每次,下次 ”Next time yu cme in, please clse the dr. 下次你進來,請關(guān)門。My rf leaks every time it rains. 每次下雨,我的房頂就漏。The last time we talked he said he needed anther tw days. 上次我們談話時他說他還需要兩天。
5. 固定句型類n sner…(had dne) than…(did)hardly/scarcely…(had dne)when...(did)(均表示“一…就…”)I had n sner clsed the dr than smebdy kncked. 我剛把門關(guān)上就有人敲門。
△ 如果把n sner, hardly, scarcely, 置于句首,它所連帶的這部分就要倒裝,即把had提前She had n sner heard the bad news than she cried.N sner had she heard the bad news than she criedI had hardly gt hme when it began t rain.Hardly had I gt hme when it began t rain.
二: 原因狀語從句:從屬連詞:because(因為) , as(由于), fr (因為) since(既然), nw(that) (既然), in that (因為) seeing (that) (由于,鑒于), cnsidering (that)(考慮到), given (that) (考慮到)
I d it because I like it. 我做這件事是因為我喜歡。As it was raining, I stayed at hme. 由于下雨,我便呆在家里。Since yu're nt interested, I wn't tell yu abut it. 既然你不感興趣,那我就不告訴你了。
Nw that yu are well again, yu can travel. 既然你恢復(fù)了健康,你就可以去旅行了。
Seeing that yu’re already at the dr, I suppse I must invite yu inside. 鑒于你已到了門口,我想我必須邀請你入內(nèi)。Cnsidering he’s nly just started, he knws quite a lt abut it. 考慮到他只是剛剛開始, 他對此的了解已經(jīng)不少了。
Given that she is interested in children, I am sure teaching is the right career fr her. 考慮到她喜歡孩子, 我可以肯定教書是最適合她的職業(yè)Gdby
三:條件狀語從句:?引導條件狀語從句的從屬連詞有if, unless (=if…nt) 如果不……,除非, as/s lng as (只要), suppse/suppsing (that) 假如prvided /prviding (that) (假如), in case (假使), n cnditin that(在……的條件下)
注:條件狀語從句和時間狀語從句一樣,體現(xiàn)主將從現(xiàn)時態(tài). Tell me in case yu get int difficulty. 遇到困難請告訴我。Suppse/Suppsing he des nt cme, shall we g withut him? 如果他不來,是不是不帶他去?As lng as yu dn't heart ,yu will succeed.你只要不灰心,就會成功。Yu will fail the exam unless yu study hard.(=if yu dn't study hard)
If yu will g with me, I’ll wait fr yu. 如果你愿意等我,我們就幫你做這事兒。但若從句謂語用了will 或 wuld,那 will 或 wuld 則是表示“愿意”的情態(tài)動詞。如:
三:目的狀語從句:?引導目的狀語從句的從屬連詞有:s that(以便,為了), in rder that (為了以便); s(以便), that(以便), in case(以防,以免), fr fear that(以免,惟恐) lest(免得,以防), 等。從句中一般含有can, culd, may, might, will, wuld等情態(tài)動詞。如:
注:當從句主語與主句主語相同時,可用不定式來表達相同的意思。如:譯:為了通過考試,他學習非常努力正:He studies very hard s that(=in rder that) he can pass the exam.正:He studies very hard s as t (=in rder t) pass the exam
四: 結(jié)果狀語從句引導結(jié)果狀語從句的從屬連詞有s that(以致,結(jié)果),s…that,such…that(如此……以至于) We arrived early, s that we gt gdseats. 我們到得很早,因此我們座位很好。It was s ht that we wanted t g swimming. 天氣太熱,我們想去游泳。She is s gd a teacher (=She is such a gd teacher) that all the students like her. 她是那么好的老師,每個學生都喜歡她。
注意:1. 在口語中that常省略。如: I am s busy I have n time t write a letter. 我是那樣忙,寫信的時間都沒有。2. 有時主句中還有倒裝語序。S bright was the mn that the flwers were bright as by day. 月亮是那樣亮,花都
六:讓步狀語從句引導詞:1.從屬連詞有althugh, thugh, while(句首), even if/thugh(即使), whether…r…(不論/不管……還是……) 2.“疑問詞+ever”和“n matter+疑問詞”等 3. 形容詞 名詞 +as(thugh) +主語+謂語(系詞) 副詞 動詞
注意:1. as引導讓步狀語從句時,若提前的是可數(shù)名詞單數(shù),要省略不定冠詞。如:Child as she is, he knws a lt. 雖然他是孩子,但他卻很懂事了。 Hard as they tried they culdn’t make her change her mind. mind.(=Althugh/Thugh they tried hard), they culdn’t make her change her mind. mind.盡管他們做了很大努力,卻沒法讓她改變主意。
注意:2. 表示“雖然”的連詞不能與表示“但是”的連詞but連用,但可以yet或still等副詞連用。譯:雖然當時正下著雨,他還是到那里去了。誤:Thugh it was raining, but he went there.正:Thugh it was raining, he went there.正:It was raining, but he went there.正:Thugh it was raining, yet he went there.
? 七: 比較狀語從句引導比較狀語從句的從屬連詞為(和……一樣),nt (和……不一樣),--er+than(比…),the mre(越……越)。這類從句常以省略形式出現(xiàn)。The wrk is nt s difficult as yu imagine. 這工作不像你想像的那么困難。Yu lk yunger than yu are. 你看上去比你的實際年齡要年輕。The mre yu study, the mre knwledge yu can get. 你學的知識越多,你的知識越豐富。He desn’t wrk as hard as she (des). 他工作不像她那樣努力。
八: 方式狀語從句引導方式狀語從句的從屬連詞:as(正如),as if或as thugh(好像)等。D as I tld yu. 按我告訴你的那樣做。As a man lives, s he dies. 正如人能活,也能死。I remember the whle thing as if it happened yesterday. 整個這件事我記得很清楚,就仿佛是昨天發(fā)生似的。注:口語中l(wèi)ike也可用連詞引導方式狀語從句。D it like he des. 照他那樣做
九:地點狀語從句地點狀語從句引導詞有where (在…的地方),wherever (無論什么地方), 地點狀語從句一般置于主句之后Sit wherever yu like. 你愛坐哪兒都可以。Keep it where yu can see it. 把它放在你看得見的地方。He lives where the climate is mild. 他住在一個氣候溫暖的地方。Wherever I am l will be thinking f yu. 我不論在哪兒,都會想你的。
地點狀語從句與定語從句的比較:1. Keep it (where yu can see it). 把它放在你看得見的地方。Keep it at the place ( where yu can see it ).2. He lives where the climate is mild. 他住在一個氣候溫暖的地方。He lives in the suth where the climate is mild.
