Alexandra Richardsn is a researcher. She said the brain needs fat. We get this fat frm fd. But nt all fats are the same. Junk fd has bad fats. But ur brains need gd fats. They are called Ω-3 fats. They're in fish, sme nuts and ils, etc. Ω-3 fats help build healthy brain cells.
Junk fd may be behind attentin prblems. That is because it desn't have gd fats. Mre gd fats make brains healthy.
Exercise is gd fr the brain, t. It can help fight harm frm junk fd.
Tw imprtant things happen in the brain when we exercise. The first is brain's reward system(獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)系統(tǒng)). It makes us feel gd when we d smething we like. Eating junk fd excites the reward system. But when we exercise, the reward system becmes less sensitive(敏感的)t hunger. Exercise makes yu n hungrier. This means we dn't find junk fd as rewarding.
A secnd imprtant thing is that exercise has the bdy make BDNF. It helps brain cells grw. It als helps make cnnectins between different parts f the brain strnger. Exercise makes these cnnectins better. These cnnectins help us weigh risks(權(quán)衡風(fēng)險(xiǎn))better and make better decisins.
