[C]化學家;藥劑師  II. sentence 1.wish +虛擬語氣的賓語從句教材例句I wish we could also do something to help.我希望我們也能幫點忙。 wish后面接that引導的賓語從句,從句謂語動詞形式如下:(1)與現(xiàn)在事實不符,從句用一般過去時(be動詞用were);(2)與過去事實不符,從句用過去完成時;(3)與將來事實不符,從句用would/ could/should/might + do。I wish I were a bird flying high in the sky.我希望我是一只高飛在天空的鳥。 (虛擬現(xiàn)在的情況)I wish I had followed your advice in the last competition.我真希望在上次比賽中我采納了你的建議。(虛擬過去的情況) I wish you would not be stubborn any more.我希望你以后不再固執(zhí)。(虛擬將來的情況) 2.in the last/past...作時間狀語教材例句 In the last 500 years, over 300 species of land animals have gone extinct.在過去的500年里,超過300種陸地動 物已經(jīng)滅絕。析:(1) in the last/past...在過去的時間里,也可以表述為during/over/for the last/past....(2) in/during/over/for the last/past..在句中作時間狀語,謂語動詞用現(xiàn)在完成時或現(xiàn)在完成進行時。In the last few years, China has made great achievements in environmental protection.在過去的幾年里,中國在環(huán)境保護方面取得了巨大成就。 拓:常與現(xiàn)在完成時連用的其他表達: since+時間點; since then; ever since; recently; lately; so far; by now; up to now 3.倒裝句:so+助動詞/情態(tài)動詞/系動詞be+主語教材例句:As the human population continues to grow, so does the effect we have on animals.隨著人口的持續(xù)增長,我們對動物的影響也在不斷增加。析:so/such引導的倒裝句: "so/such+助 動詞/情態(tài)動詞/系動詞be+主語”, 表示前面所說的肯定情況也適用于后者,意為“……也是這樣。 拓:so/such...that...結(jié)構(gòu)中,so/such...置于句首時,其所在句子部分倒裝,that...不倒裝。So hot a day was it that they all went swimming.天氣如此熱,他們都去游泳了。Such a tough problem is it that I find it really hard to handle.這是一個如此困難的問題以至于我發(fā)現(xiàn)它真的很難解決。 鏈:(1)neither/nor引導的倒裝句: "neither/nor+助動詞/情態(tài)動詞/系動詞be + 主語”,表示前面所說的否定情況也適用于后者,意為“……也不……” (2)如果前面句子的謂語既有肯定又有否定,或者形式不同,就用句型 "So it is/was with...""It is/was the same with.."(3) "so/such +主語+助動詞/情態(tài) 動詞/系動詞be",表示說話人同意對 方的觀點,意為“……的確如此。 4. It is one's duty to do sth.做某事是某人的責任。教材例句:It's our duty to protect our environment while aiming for eco- nomic development.我們的責任是保護環(huán)境,同時著眼于經(jīng)濟發(fā)展。 析:在句式It is one's duty to do sth., it是形式主語,后面的不定式短語是真正的主語。It is our duty to keep the classroom clean.保持教室干凈是我們的職責。 鏈:能用于"It+be+名詞詞組+to do sth. / that從句的名詞詞組還有a pity, an honour,a good thing, a fact, a surprise等。 It was a pity that you overlooked such an important detail.真可惜你忽視了這么重要的細節(jié)。 Step 4 Appreciation The teacher has students work in pairs and answer the following questions.1.
