Cars, planes and factries all pllute ur air every day. Smetimes the plluted air is s thick that it is like a quilt ver a city. This kind f quilt is called smg(煙霧).
Many cuntries are making rules t fight pllutin. Factries must nw clean their water befre it is thrwn away, they mustn’t blw dirty smke int the air.
We need t d many ther things. We can put waste things in the dustbin and nt thrw it n the grund. We can g t wrk by bus r with ur friends in the same car. If there are fewer peple driving, there will be less pllutin.
Rules are nt enugh. Every persn must help t fight pllutin.

I then walked back t the table and aplgized t the wife. After the cuple heard my reasn, they understd that the prblem was caused by cultural differences, s they laughed and were n lnger angry.
In my village in China, peple are prud f being ld. Nt s many peple live t be seventy r eighty, and peple wh reach such an age have the mst knwledge and experience. Yung peple always respect lder peple because they knw they can learn frm their rich experience.
Hwever, in the United States, peple think “grwing ld” is a prblem since “l(fā)d” shws that a persn is ging t retire r that the bdy is nt wrking well. Here many peple try t keep themselves away frm grwing ld by ding exercises r jgging, and wmen put n makeup, hping t lk yung. When I tld the cuple in the restaurant that I respect the elderly, they gt angry because this caused them t feel they had failed t stay yung. I had tld them smething they didn’t want t hear.
After that, I changed the way I had been with lder peple. It is nt that I dn’t respect them any mre; I still respect them, but nw I dn’t shw my feelings thrugh wrds.
