Nowadays, more than 550 million tonnes is produced around the world each year, 92% of that being produced in Asia. Now, moving on to the Yokohama Noodle Museum site. The museum stays open later than most museums — from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, with the last admission being 10:00 pm. The museum is open every day except for Tuesday, with Sunday being the busiest day and Thursday being the least busy. The first floor of the museum has a souvenir shop. It sells bowls for eating noodles out of, equipment for making noodles — even curtains with pictures of noodles on them! You can see a display showing how noodles are made. On B1F and B2F, there are different noodle shops, which take orders until 30 minutes before closing time.
